  • TECH COMMUNITIES MONTH 2025

    Tech communities are vital engines for digital transformation, innovation, and job creation in Rwanda and beyond. They are groups of tech passionate individuals who come together to share knowledge, build projects, and collaborate on solving local and global problems using technology.

  • Innovate4DigiJobs

    The Innovation Challenge, led by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in partnership with the ICT Chamber, aims to foster social innovation and scale solutions that contribute to youth employment growth and the creation of decent jobs in Rwanda’s digital economy. This initiative focuses on enhancing digital skills, strengthening entrepreneurship, and supporting inclusive digital businesses to maximize emerging opportunities.

  • iHuzo

    Initiated in 2021 by Rwanda ICT Chamber in partnership with Access to Finance Rwanda, iHuzo (Kinyarwanda for Convenor) project aims at accelerating the growth of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) through expanding the e-commerce sector in Rwanda for both businesses and individuals.

  • MSMEs Go Digital

    This project was implemented by Rwanda ICT Chamber in partnership with the Ministry of ICT and Innovation (MINICT), and supported by UNCDF in 2021 as part of its COVID-19 response and recovery plan. The objectives of the pilot were to onboard MSMEs to e-commerce platforms to improve sales, drive more customers to buy online, while promoting awareness of e-commerce and building digital literacy within the wider community.

  • Hanga Hubs

    The project aims to establish innovation hubs in 4 secondary cities of Rwanda (Rusizi, Rubavu, Nyagatare, and Muhanga) providing young entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to leverage disruptive technologies. By fostering a culture of innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, promoting inclusivity, and driving economic growth, the program intends to address the concentration of entrepreneurship support in Kigali.

  • AIPI

    Access to International Partnerships in IT (AIPI) is a partnership project between Rwanda ICT Chamber and the Germany-based Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand e.V. (BITMi). Initiated in 2021, AIPI aims at facilitating the creation of partnerships and access to new markets through B2B, study tours, capacity-building programs, workshops, exchange programs, and other events that support fruitful collaborations of and for both ecosystems.

  • Talent4Startups

    Implemented by Rwanda ICT Chamber in partnership with Digital Africa in 2023, the Talent 4 Startups is a program which aims to bridge the gap between talents and start-ups in Africa. The Talent 4 Startups improves the employability of young people while meeting the skills needs of the ecosystem.

  • EdTech Mondays Programs

    The EdTech Monday Rwanda is a Mastercard Foundation and ICT Chamber initiative that aims to spark the EdTech ecosystem in Rwanda. The show occurs every last Monday of the month, and it airs from 6 PM to 7 PM on KT Radio and on Kigali Today.

  • Digital Talent Program (DTP)

    The Digital Talent Program (DTP), initiated by IHS Towers Group in partnership with the Ministry of ICT and Innovation and Rwanda ICT Chamber, is designed to build a digitally skilled workforce for today’s job market. It offers structured training in software development, data science, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, while strengthening soft skills. The programme aims to equip 20,000 young people across Rwanda over the next two years — closing the skills gap and supporting the country’s vision for digital growth and inclusion.

  • KoraLink

    KoraLink is a bold initiative designed to harness the tech-savvy energy of young people in Africa and revolutionise health in their communities. The programme supports a movement of young changemakers serving as digital agents who sell health products and other services to their communities. Using digital innovation and an enterprising spirit, it places young people at the heart of health transformation, building a future-ready workforce committed to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable health systems.
